Humphreys Central Elementary School educates, engages, and empowers each student to succeed in a dynamic world. In collaboration with the community, HCES implements standards-based instruction which enables all students to become problem solvers, life-long learners, and productive members in a culturally diverse society.

At Humphreys Central Elementary School, our vision is to implement an instructional program that provides a positive, nurturing climate that stimulates maximum academic and social growth, inspires appreciation and respect for diversity, and empowers all children to participate successfully in the 21st century society. We are located at USAG Humphreys near Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea.
We belong to the DoDEA Pacific, Korea School District which is part of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). DoDEA is a Department of Defense field activity operating under the direction, authority, and control of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness and the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy.
Goal 1: Reading Comprehension
All students will improve in Reading Comprehension.
Goal 2: Mathematics
All students will increase achievement in Mathematics.
Goal 3:
All teachers will participate in Focused Collaboration.
